Brujas of Brooklyn

The Brujas of Brooklyn are Afro-Dominican identical twins, raised in Brooklyn, New York. They believe in the power of Spirit to cast spells that aid in collective healing.

Griselda and Miguelina are healing generational traumas of gendered racism, which women of color often hold in our wombs, or Yonis- their craft is therefore dedicated to womb-healing, or what they call Woke Womb Work.

Their YONI workshops create safe spaces for women to release generations of pent trauma. The work that they do is inspired by the 7th generation principle among indigenous peoples across the Americas: the healing that takes place today will help to heal 7 generations before us and 7 generations after us. This is their wish.
